This highly portable, great sounding amp delivers the tone
modern Jazz guitarists crave...with unprecedented features
and power, available for the first time via Fender's proprietary
design. Now you can carry "your sound" with you to the
recording session or gig, quickly & easily; and enjoy the same
quality tones and effects while practicing with headphones.
Integrated for use with the Jazzmaster Ultralight Enclosure.

A. INPUTS— Plug your guitar into one of these
jacks. Input 2 has lower sensitivity (–6dB), providing
cleaner response with high output/preamplified guitars.
B. CHANNEL SELECT— Press to switch channels as indi-
cated by the LED.
Normal channel —use top row controls
Drive channel —use bottom row controls
C. VOICE—
Press IN to add crisp, high-frequency bright-
ness to the Normal channel.
D. GAIN— Use to adjust the amount of distortion in the
Drive channel, then adjust the Volume.
E. VOLUME— Adjusts the loudness of each channel.
F. TREBLE / MID / BASS— Adjusts the tone character of
each channel.
G. EFFECTS LEVEL— Adjusts the amount of the effects in
each channel. To turn OFF effects: rotate fully counter-
clockwise or use the Footswitch {R}.
H. EFFECTS SELECT— Selects the active effect for each
channel. See Effects Descriptions on page 8.

I. TUNER/MUTE— Press to disable all audio output from
the amplifier; useful for silent tune-ups.

J. PHONES— Plug your stereo headphones in here; speaker
outputs are automatically disabled.
K. POWER INDICATOR—
Flashes if the unit detects an overload condition
such as a faulty speaker cable, improper connection,
overheating, or incorrect speaker impedance. The ampli-
fier may be more susceptible to overload if high-output
effects or other devices are used. The unit will automati-
cally try to reset, but if an overload condition still exists
after 5 attempts, the unit will remain in protection mode
until powered OFF. Remove the overload condition then
switch the power back ON; if this LED still flashes, take the
unit to an authorized Fender® service center.
If the Power Indicator does not illuminate, check the
fuse. If the fuse is good, leave the unit unplugged for 15
minutes to allow the power supply to reset. If that fails,
take the unit to an authorized Fender® service center.
