Leave the Velcro on the padded strip so that it faces upwards, fold the opposite end of the lap belt, leaving the Velcro
folded over on the inside.
Insert the folded belt into slot "A" (Fig. 5) pulling it out through the back of the carrycot (the belt must pass respectively:
through the hole in the mattress, through the hole in the fabric and through the hole in the body).
Then insert the belt from the outside of the carrycot inside through hole "B" (the belt must pass respectively: through the
hole in the body, through the hole in the fabric and through the hole in the mattress) (Fig. 6).
Make sure the belt has been inserted correctly, the Velcro of the padded strip must be on the top side, the Velcro of the
belt on the bottom side.
Fasten the belt by placing the belt with the Velcro on top of the padded strip (Fig. 7).
WARNING! Make sure that the belt is not twisted (Fig. 8).
Car seatbelt retaining buckle
To fasten the two buckles to pins "A" located at the ends of the carrycot (Fig. 9), insert each buckle in its respective pin,
pushing it (Fig. 10) and pull the buckle downwards until a click is heard (Fig. 11). Make sure it has been fastened properly.
WARNING! NEVER fit the buckles back to front (Fig. 12).
SECURING THE CARRYCOT IN THE CAR:
FIRST INSTALLATION
To secure the carrycot to the rear car seat it must be positioned in the centre and fastened using the belts of the two side
seats (Fig. 13). If the middle seat of the rear car seat is also fitted with a 3-point car seatbelt, the carrycot can also be
fitted at the side, so that it occupies the seat at the side and the middle seat and is fastened with the seatbelts of these
two seats (Fig. 14).
1. Pull out and fasten the two car seatbelts to the respective seat buckles (Fig. 15).
2. Recline the backrest of the carrycot fully to the horizontal position, the only position of the backrest authorised for the
use of the carrycot in the car (see carrycot instruction manual).
3. Make sure that the side safety padding has been fitted at the head of the carrycot.
4. Make sure that the lap belt has been fitted correctly.
WARNING!
NEVER use the carrycot in the car with the backrest raised!
NEVER use the carrycot in the car without the side safety padding.
NEVER use the carrycot in cars that are not fitted with a lap belt. Baby must always be fastened with the lap belt even
on short journeys.
If these instructions are not followed, the product CANNOT guarantee adequate protection with serious risks for baby's
safety in the event of an accident.
5. Position the carrycot on the seat in a lengthwise position (Fig. 16), making sure that it is fitted close to the seat.
6. Carry out these procedures to fit the buckles properly on both sides of the carrycot:
- take hold of the car seatbelt and make a loop (Fig. 17).
- Grip the buckle of the carrycot and turn the red bar of the buckle downwards (Fig. 18).
Insert the loop created with the car seatbelt in the buckle (Fig. 19) and turn the red bar to the initial position, so that it is
inserted inside the loop itself (Fig. 20).
Pull the car seatbelt towards the retracting device, pushing the carrycot against the seat (Fig. 21).
WARNING! Make sure the carrycot is fitted close to the seat.
WARNING! Make sure the belts are taut (Fig. 22).
HOW TO PLACE BABY IN THE CARRYCOT
Open the lap belt, pulling the external belt (Fig. 23).
Place baby flat in the carrycot (Fig. 24).
First pass the padded strip of the belt over baby's waist, then fasten the Velcro tabs, placing the belt without padding on
top of the padded strip (Fig. 25).
The lap belt must be regulated so that it fits close to baby's waist, without being too tight (Fig. 26).
HOW TO REMOVE BABY
Release the lap belt in the carrycot, by pulling the external strip (Fig. 27).
HOW TO REMOVE THE CARRYCOT FROM THE CAR SEAT
Carry out the following procedures on both sides of the carrycot.
Release the buckle from the carrycot, by pulling the red plastic tab on the buckle outwards and, at the same time, lift
the buckle upwards (Fig. 28). In this way, the carrycot is released from the belt. The buckle remains attached to the car
seatbelt.
