must be properly maintained. Check the tool for lack of adjustment and play of mobile parts. Check if any element of the tool is
damaged. In the case if any defects are detected, they must be repaired before the tool may be used. Many accidents are caused
by incorrect maintenance of tools. Cutting tools must be kept clean and sharp. Properly kept cutting tool is easier to control during
operation. Use the tools and accessories with accordance to the above mentioned instructions. Use the tools with accordance to
their purpose, taking into account the type and conditions of work. Using the tools for purposes that differ from those for which they
were designed, increases the risk of dangerous situation. While operating a tool, take into account a possibility of fracturing the
working tool, what may cause expulsion of its parts at a high velocity and lead to serious injuries. Make sure the tool is rotating in
a correct direction. Unexpected direction of rotation may be a cause of a dangerous situation. Do not place hands near the mobile
cutting elements of the tool, since it may cause serious injuries. Cause of the greatest amount of damage during use of tools is
the contact body parts with moving blades. Keep an appropriate position and be prepared for an unexpected reaction of the tool.
Only use original accessories. Using the improper equipment can lead to serious injuries.
Repair
The tool may be repaired solely in authorised service points which use only original spare parts. It will guarantee an appropriate
level of safety of the tool. Do not clean the case of the tool, and plastic or rubber covers with petrol, solvents or another corrosive
liquid. The tool may only be maintained with high quality materials. It is prohibited to use substances other than those mentioned
in the service manual.

Operation of the device
THE DEVICE MAY CAUSE SERIOUS INJURIES. Read thoroughly the operating manual. Get acquainted with the recommenda-
tions regarding keeping, operation, maintenance, starting and stopping the device. Get acquainted with the recommendations
regarding proper operation of all the control elements. It is prohibited to operate the device in closed interiors. The combustion
gas contains poisonous gases. Their inhalation may constitute a risk for health and life. It is prohibited to expose the device to
precipitation and operate it in high humidity. It is prohibited to operate the device in high fire or explosion risk atmospheres. It is
required to use fuel and oil which are free from any contamination, and are meant for two-stroke motors. It is recommended to use
high quality products, since this will prolong the life of the motor. During work avoid contact with grounded, conductive and non-
insulated objects, such as pipes, heaters and coolers. During work there is a risk of objects being ejected towards the operator.
During work always wear protective clothing, gloves, protective shoes and goggles protecting from mechanical dangers. During
work always wear a helmet. Always wear eyes and face protections, which will protect eyes, face and the respiratory system from
dust, combustion gases and other objects which may be thrown towards the operator during work. Use boots with full uppers and
non-skid soles. During work adopt a position which permits to maintain equilibrium. Use a properly adjusted arm belt. Adjustments
should permit easy handling and operation of the device with no risk of losing equilibrium and excessive load. Before the device is
started, check whether you can move freely. If necessary readjust the belt. Interrupt work regularly to rest and change the position
of the body while operating the device.
During work with the device beware of both overhead and ground live objects.
Pay attention to the surroundings during work. Certain dangers may not be audible due to the noise emitted by the device.
While the device is not used, it must be stored in a dry, protected and well-ventilated place, which is not accessible for non-au-
thorised persons. If the device is stored for a long period of time the fuel and the fuel system must be drained. The device must
be maintained as described below.
If during work with the device, its functioning seems suspicious (increased vibrations, noise, smell, etc.), turn the tool off immedi-
ately and have it revised in a repair workshop.
Handle the fuel carefully. Fuel is highly inflammable. Do not ever fill the fuel tank while the machine is functioning or hot. Do not
inhale the fuel vapours, which are harmful. Make sure the fuel tank cap is tightly closed.

It is required to inspect the device every day or before every use, as well as after every fall or impact. In case any elements of
the device are damaged, work must be stopped or never started. The damaged elements must be replaced before work is com-
menced.
Use exclusively original spare parts, since otherwise the risk of failure and injuries increases. The device must be repaired solely
in authorised workshops, using original spare parts. This will reduce the risk of accidents and damage to the equipment.
Before the device is transported, the fuel tank must be drained. Before transport the blade must be protected with the provided
guard.
Do not obstruct the ventilation inlets and outlets, even if the device is not working.
Do not touch the surfaces of the motor, which get hot during work, since it implies a risk of burns.
The handles of the device must be kept clean and free of any lubricants and grease.
Attention! Make sure the legal regulations binding in the country in which the device is to be operated do not limit the scope of
its exploitation.
Operation of the trimmer
Before work may be commenced it is required to determine a safety zone in which a distance of 15 m will be maintained between
