3- Adjusting the cutting thickness
• The VANTAGE Slicer is used to cut
smooth slices from 1 to 10 mm thick.
• Two tightening knobs are placed on both
sides of the Slicer in order to block or re-
lease the support plate while adjusting to
the desired height (l); there is no need to
tighten too much the knobs to ensure the
plate is kept perfectly horizontal.
• Once it has been released, the stainless
steel plate can freely move up and down
and thereby increase or reduce the thic-
kness of the slices (2).
• Once you have reached the desired thic-
kness, the tightening knobs must be tigh-
tened again.
Caution for storage : always leave the
plate in the high position and put back
the blade protection guard.
4- Inserting a Julienne blade
Caution: the Julienne blade has very sharp blades. Handle with caution by
taking it from the part at the back.
• Turn over the mandoline.
• Pull back the blocking strip located underneath the frame (1).
• Place the Julienne blade on the frame – blades facing the frame –
by positioning the slot at the centre of the front axis (2).
• Bring back the blocking strip towards the front on the Julienne
blade to block it (3).

5- Slider and pusher
• The VANTAGE mandoline is delivered together with a slider and its
pusher. The products that need to be cut are placed in the slider. To
use the product safely, it is essential to use the slider and the pusher.
• The slider simply slides on the frame of the Slicer. This means it
cannot come out of the tracks during the cutting process.
• Place the products you need to cut in the slider (vegetables or fruits
that are too large must be cut beforehand).
