• Do not disconnect the volume measuring section and temperature sensors from the

Installation

General installation instructions

• Observe the environmental conditions!
• Select installation locations where the permissible temperature spreads are not
undercut.
• The volume measuring section is best installed in the outlet, that is to say on the warm
side of the refrigeration cycle.
• All components must be insulated impermeably after installation.

• Install ideally in the area of the variable flow.
• The meter must be protected against magnetite and dirt for the device's entire working life.
• Shut-off valves must be installed in front of the strainer and behind the meter.

When selecting the installation location, pay attention to the length of the fixed
connected sensor cable.
• Do not carry out any welding, soldering or drilling work in the vicinity of the meter.
• Only install meters in operational systems.
• Protect meters against damages from impacts or vibration.
When commissioning, open the shut-off valves slowly.
