- Position the bread pan (E) on the appropriate seat of the appliance, rotating it in a clockwise direc- -
tion to block it (Fig. 2).
- Assemble the kneading arm (F) onto the motor drive shaft inside the bread pan (E) (Fig. 3).
- Measure the ingredients with the supplied measure (D) or measuring spoon (C) and put the ingre- -
dients into the bread pan (E).
ATTENTION: It is fundamental to follow the insertion sequence of the ingredients as described in
the recipe.
This sequence must be strictly followed and normally is liquids, eggs, salt, powdered milk, etc. When
the ingredients are placed in the flour, it must not be completely moist and the yeast must be placed
into dry flour. Furthermore, it is fundamental that the yeast must never come into contact with the
salt. After the flour has been mixed for a little while, a beep reminds you to insert the fruit ingredients.
After long mixing the taste is reduced, if the fruit ingredients are inserted too early.
- Close the lid (I) and insert the plug into the electrical socket. Press the main switch (A) on the back
of the machine and the machine beeps and on the display appears "1 3:00". The two points do not

one on the display. The 12 programmes with the relative corresponding number that appear on the
display are as follows:
1 BASIC: kneading, raising and baking of ordinary bread. Ingredients can be added to increase the
flavour.
2 WHOLE WHEAT: kneading, raising and baking of brown bread. It is suggested to not use the
delay function because the result could be poor.
3 FRENCH: kneading, raising and baking with a longer raising time. This type of bread has a more
crunchy crust and soft dough.
4 QUICK: kneading, raising and baking of French bread with a lesser time than that of ordinary
bread. Generally, this loaf is smaller with a denser fibre.
5 SWEET: kneading, raising and baking of sweet bread. Ingredients can be added to add further
flavour.
6 CAKE: kneading, raising and baking, but the raising occurs by bicarbonate or oven yeast.
7 JAM: boiling of jam and marmalade. The fruit must be cut into pieces before being put into the
oven pan.
