Intended use

WARNING

Inhalation of dusts that are harmful to health
Do not use the device for vacuuming up dusts that are
harmful to health.
ATTENTION

Only use and store the device indoors.
 This universal vacuum cleaner for carpets is intend-
ed for dry cleaning floor and wall surfaces.
 This device is suitable for commercial use, e.g. in
hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offices,
and rental companies.

Safety information

Battery pack and charger
In addition, read the operating instructions and safety
instructions that come with the battery pack and the
charger.
This device can be operated with all 18 V Kärcher Bat-
tery Power and Battery Power+ battery packs.

Scope of delivery

Check the contents for completeness when unpacking.
The scope of delivery for your equipment version is
shown on the packaging. Please contact your dealer if
any accessories are missing or in the event of any ship-
ping damage.
Colour coding
 Control elements for the cleaning process are yel-
low.
 Control elements for maintenance and servicing are
light grey.

Installing accessories

ATTENTION
Danger of tipping over!
Do not set the device down when using the flexible suc-
tion hose.
Hold the device in one hand during cleaning
1. Select desired accessory.
2. Plug the accessory onto the suction pipe or directly
into the device.

Switching the device on/off

1. Press the power switch halfway, the device starts up.
2. Release power switch, device stops.
3. Press the power switch until it latches into place:
Continuous operation.
4. Press the power switch - latch disengages and the
device stops.
The most recently selected mode remains stored
when the device is switched off and is reactivated
when the device is switched on again.

Converting the floor nozzle

The floor nozzle can be converted for use on various dif-
ferent types of floor.
 Use with brushes suitable for hard floors
 Use without brushes suitable for textile coverings.
Note
During the cleaning of textile coverings, the battery run
time is shortened due to increased cleaning perfor-
mance.
1. Release the lock.
2. Remove the carpet insert.
3. Insert the hard floor insert.
4. Close the lock.
And vice-versa.

Draining the dirt receptacle

Empty the dirt receptacle regularly, but at the latest
when the suction performance decreases.
Note
Large accessories, such as suction pipes, should be re-
moved before removing the dirt receptacle to facilitate
handling.
1. Press the dirt receptacle release mechanisms on
both sides.
2. Pivot the dirt receptacle upwards.
3. Remove the cartridge filter from the dirt receptacle.
4. Empty the dirt receptacle.
5. Reinsert the filter elements.
6. Reinsert the dirt receptacle until it latches into place.
