ATTENTION
The device is equipped with internal
thermal protection to protect against
overheating. The device switches off
when the thermal protection is activat-
ed. Upon activation of the thermal pro-
tection, proceed as follows:
1 Switch off the device and unplug the
mains plug.
2 Check the nozzles and bag inlet
openings for obstructions (clog-
ging). Remove any obstructions if
present.
3 Pull out the power plug and allow the
motor to cool down for 30 minutes.
The thermal protection is deactivat-
ed once the motor has cooled down.
You can then continue your cleaning
work.
You must have the device serviced if
the thermal protection does not auto-
matically deactivate after performing
this step.
Polarization instructions
To reduce the risk of an electric shock,
the device is fitted with a polarized plug
(one pin is wider than the other). This
plug only fits into a polarized socket in
one direction. Rotate the plug if it does
not fit fully into the power socket. If the
plug still does not fit then you must
have a suitable socket installed by a
qualified electrician. Never modify or
replace the plug.
