HVU M12 / HAS-R M12 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
(following the installation data given above)
• Drill the hole perpendicular to the support
• Remove the concrete debris with a brush then
remove the dust
• Insert the whole of the HVU plug into the hole or fill
it with resin
• Insert the threaded rod using a percussion
screwdriver in order to crush and mix the chemical
compound
3 - USE

3 -1 USEFUL INFORMATION

To correctly attach the fall arrest harness to the anchor point (fulfilling EN 795)
and limit a dangerous fall or restrict the height of a fall, we recommend:
• connecting a shock absorber (fulfilling EN 355) or automatic retractable
element (fulfilling EN 360) as a dorsal (back) connecting element for the body
harness,
• connecting an independent catching member including a locking element
(rigid, fulfilling EN 353-1, or flexible, fulfilling EN 353-2), as a front (chest)
connecting element for the body harness.
CARABINER
Connecting element fulfilling EN 362.
• The carabiner must be connected directly to the harness without an
intermediate element.
