3. During repair only original replacement parts or components from a
recommended manufacturer may be used.
4. WARNING!
Anchoring equipment which does not work or has sustained stress
during a fall, must not be used further. Its further use must approved by an
authorized person.
An authorized person is one who:
due to their expertise and experience in the field of personal protection equipment
for falls from a height, has sufficient knowledge of general and currently valid
safety regulations and relevant standards (e.g., EN standards), and is therefore
able and entitled to assess whether the condition and use of systems and
products for falls from a height is compliant. Equipment whose condition causes
doubt must be immediately withdrawn from service and handed over to the
authorized person to assess whether it should be destroyed.
5. The labels contain the following information. (see Fig.7).
WARNING!
The product must always be equipped with identifying labels 4 and 5.

4-2 REGULAR INSPECTION

These instructions must be stored with the product. Complete the identification
sheet attached to the specification labels.
Regular inspection verifies the functionality and resilience of the equipment and is
essential to ensure the safety of the user.
Equipment must be re-examined at least once a year by an authorized person
exactly according to the manufacturer's instructions. The inspection must be
recorded in the attachment and a label must be attached to the product.
If the regulations require, or there is frequent use or adverse environmental
conditions, it is necessary to shorten the interval between inspections (i.e.,
conduct more frequent inspections). The legibility of the product labels must be
checked.
4-3 LIFESPAN
The lifespan of the anchorage with superior metal components appears to
be unlimited; with unused products it is set up to 10 years from the date of
manufacture (exceptions specified in the corresponding footnote).
The product's functionality and lifespan, however, may be limited by the following
factors: improper storage or use, fall arrest, mechanical damage, chemical
substances (acids and bases), enduring temperatures above 60ºC or below -30ºC,
strong ultraviolet light, unclean or especially wet environments.
IMPORTANT!
The authorized person or business that installs the device must verify
before installation whether the underlying structure on which the device will
be fixed meets the requirements of its function.
The base must withstand stresses transmitted by the column (> 12 kN).
This must be confirmed in writing by a qualified engineer.
