During the two-year guarantee/warranty period we recommend that you have service, other
than battery replacement, done by an authorized Polar Service Center only. The warranty does
not cover damage or consequential damage caused by service not authorized by Polar Electro.

PRECAUTIONS
Polar products (training devices, activity trackers and accessories) are designed to indicate
the level of physiological strain and recovery during and after exercise session. The Polar
training devices and activity trackers measure heart rate and/or tell your activity. The Polar
training devices with an integrated GPS show speed, distance and location. With a compatible
Polar accessory the Polar training devices show speed and distance, cadence, location and
power output. See www.polar.com/en/products/accessories for a complete list of compatible
accessories. The Polar training devices with a barometric pressure sensor measure altitude
and other variables. No other use is intended or implied. The Polar training device should not
be used for obtaining environmental measurements that require professional or industrial
precision.
Minimizing risks when exercising: Exercise may include some risk. Before beginning a regular
exercise program, it is recommended that you answer the following questions concerning your
health status. If you answer yes to any of these questions, we recommend that you consult a
doctor before starting any training program.
• Have you been physically inactive for the past 5 years?
• Do you have high blood pressure or high blood cholesterol?
• Are you taking any blood pressure or heart medication?
• Do you have a history of breathing problems?
• Do you have symptoms of any disease?
• Are you recovering from a serious illness or medical treatment?
• Do you use a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device?
• Do you smoke?
• Are you pregnant?
In addition to exercise intensity, medications for heart conditions, blood pressure,
psychological conditions, asthma, breathing, etc., as well as some energy drinks, drugs,
alcohol, and nicotine may also affect heart rate. It is important to be sensitive to your body's
responses during exercise. If you feel unexpected pain or excessive fatigue when exercising, it
is recommended that you stop the exercise or continue at a lighter intensity.
Note! If you are using a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, you can use Polar
products. In theory interference to pacemaker caused by Polar products should not be
possible. In practice no reports exist to suggest anyone ever having experienced interference.
We cannot however issue an official guarantee on our products' suitability with all pacemakers
or other implanted devices due to the variety of devices available. If you have any doubts, or
if you experience any unusual sensations while using Polar products, please consult your
physician or contact the implanted electronic device manufacturer to determine safety in your
case.
If you are allergic to any substance that comes into contact with your skin or if you suspect
an allergic reaction due to using the product, check the listed materials in Technical
Specifications. If you experience any skin reaction, stop using the product and consult your
physician. Also inform Polar customer care about your skin reaction.
The combined impact of moisture and intense abrasion may cause color to come off the heart
rate sensor's surface, possibly staining light-colored clothes. It may also cause a darker color
to come off clothing, possibly staining lighter-colored training devices. To keep a light-colored
training device glowing for years to come, please make sure the clothing you wear while
training does not bleed color. If you use perfume or insect repellent on your skin, you must
ensure that it does not come into contact with the training device or the heart rate sensor. If
you train in cold conditions (-20 °C to -10 °C / -4 °F to 14 °F) we recommend that you wear the
training device under the sleeve of your jacket, directly on your skin.
Disturbance may occur near electrical devices and WLAN base stations. To avoid erratic
reading or misbehaviors, move away from possible sources of disturbance. For further

LIMITED INTERNATIONAL POLAR GUARANTEE
Polar Electro Oy issues a limited international guarantee for Polar products. For products
which have been sold in the USA or Canada, guarantee is issued by Polar Electro, Inc. Polar
Electro Oy/Polar Electro Inc. guarantees the original consumer/purchaser of the Polar
product that the product will be free from defects in material or workmanship for two (2)
years from the date of purchase. The guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear of the
battery, or other normal wear and tear, damage due to misuse, abuse, accidents or non-
compliance with the precautions; improper maintenance, commercial use, cracked, broken
or scratched cases/displays, armband, elastic strap (e.g. heart rate sensor chest strap) and
Polar apparel. The guarantee does also not cover any damage/s, losses, costs or expenses,
direct, indirect or incidental, consequential or special, arising out of, or related to the product.
Guarantee does not cover products which have been purchased second hand. During the
guarantee period, the product will be either repaired or replaced at any of the authorized
Polar Central Services regardless of the country of purchase. Guarantee issued by Polar
Electro Oy/Inc. does not affect the consumer's statutory rights under applicable national
or state laws in force, or the consumer's rights against the dealer arising from their sales/
purchase contract. You should keep the receipt as a proof of purchase! Guarantee with respect
to any product will be limited to countries where the product has been initially marketed by
Polar Electro Oy/Inc. You can find terms of Polar Electro limited international guarantee at

Warranty in Australia
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods
repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not
amount to a major failure.

Die Herzfrequenz kann nicht nur durch die Trainingsintensität, sondern zusätzlich auch durch
Medikamente gegen Erkrankungen des Herzens, Asthma, Atembeschwerden usw. sowie
durch Energy-Drinks, Alkohol und Nikotin beeinflusst werden. Achte während des Trainings
unbedingt auf die Reaktionen deines Körpers. Wenn du während des Trainings unerwartete
Schmerzen oder starke Ermüdung verspürst, solltest du das Training beenden oder mit einer
geringeren Intensität fortfahren.
Hinweis! Auch wenn du einen Herzschrittmacher oder ein anderes implantiertes
elektronisches Gerät trägst, kannst du Polar Produkte nutzen. Theoretisch sind Störungen
des Herzschrittmachers durch Polar Produkte nicht möglich. Es liegen keinerlei Berichte
über solche Störungen vor. Jedoch können wir nicht garantieren, dass unsere Produkte
für alle Herzschrittmacher oder sonstigen implantierten Geräte geeignet sind, da eine
Vielzahl verschiedener Modelle solcher Geräte erhältlich ist. Wenn du Zweifel hast oder bei
der Verwendung von Polar Produkten ungewöhnliche Empfindungen auftreten, konsultiere
deinen Arzt oder setze dich mit dem Hersteller des implantierten elektronischen Geräts in

Kleidung, die abfärbt. Wenn du Parfüm oder Insektenschutzmittel verwendest, stelle sicher,
dass dieses nicht mit dem Trainingsgerät oder dem Herzfrequenz-Sensor in Kontakt kommt.
Wenn du bei Kälte trainierst (-20 °C bis -10 °C), empfehlen wir dir, das Trainingsgerät unter
deiner Sportbekleidung direkt auf der Haut zu tragen.
In der Nähe von elektrischen Geräten und WLAN-Basisstationen kann es zu Störungen

WELTWEITE GARANTIE DES HERSTELLERS
Polar Electro Oy gewährt eine weltweite Garantie für Polar Produkte. Für Produkte,
die in den USA oder Kanada verkauft wurden, wird die Garantie von Polar Electro, Inc.
gewährt. Polar Electro Oy/Polar Electro Inc. gewähren dem Erstkunden/Erstkäufer dieses
Produkts eine Garantie von zwei (2) Jahren ab Kaufdatum bei Mängeln, die auf Material-
oder Fabrikationsfehler zurückzuführen sind. Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind:
normaler Verschleiß der Batterie und sonstiger normaler Verschleiß, Beschädigungen

unmittelbaren Schäden oder Folgeschäden, Verluste, entstandenen Kosten oder Ausgaben,

En plus d'une activité physique intense, les médicaments pour le cœur, la pression artérielle,
les conditions psychologiques, l'asthme, la respiration, etc., ainsi que certaines boissons
énergisantes, l'alcool et la nicotine peuvent également affecter la fréquence cardiaque. Il est
important de tenir compte des réactions de votre corps lors de vos entraînements. Si lors de
votre entraînement, vous ressentez une douleur inattendue ou une fatigue excessive, il est
recommandé d'arrêter l'exercice ou de continuer à moindre intensité.
Remarque ! Vous pouvez utiliser les produits Polar même si vous portez un stimulateur
cardiaque ou tout autre dispositif électronique implanté. En théorie, les produits Polar ne
doivent pas pouvoir causer d'interférences avec les stimulateurs cardiaques. Dans la pratique,
aucun rapport ne laisse penser que quiconque ait expérimenté des interférences. Nous ne
pouvons toutefois pas émettre de garantie officielle concernant l'adéquation de nos produits
avec tous les stimulateurs cardiaques ou autres dispositifs implantés compte tenu de leur
variété. En cas de doute ou si vous ressentez des sensations inhabituelles lors de l'utilisation
de produits Polar, consultez votre médecin ou contactez le fabricant du dispositif électronique
implanté afin de vous assurer de votre sécurité.
Si vous êtes allergique à une substance qui entre en contact avec votre peau ou si vous
suspectez une réaction allergique due à l'utilisation de ce produit, consultez la liste des
matériaux dans les Caractéristiques techniques. En cas de réaction cutanée, cessez d'utiliser
le produit et consultez votre médecin. Informez également le service client Polar de votre
réaction cutanée.
Sous l'effet combiné de l'humidité et de l'abrasion, la surface du capteur de fréquence
cardiaque peut se décolorer, maculant ainsi les vêtements clairs.Elles peuvent également
noircir les vêtements, maculant ainsi les dispositifs d'entraînement de couleur claire. Pour
garder un dispositif d'entraînement de couleur claire en bon état pendant plusieurs années,
assurez-vous que les vêtements que vous portez pendant votre entraînement ne déteignent
pas. Si vous appliquez sur votre peau du parfum ou un spray insecticide, assurez-vous que le
produit n'entre pas en contact avec le dispositif d'entraînement ou l'émetteur de fréquence
cardiaque. Si vous vous entraînez dans des conditions de grand froid (de -20 °C à -10 °C),
il est recommandé de porter le dispositif d'entraînement sous la manche de votre veste,
directement sur la peau.
Des interférences sont possibles à proximité d'appareils électriques et de bornes WLAN. Pour

Oltre all'intensità dell'allenamento, ai farmaci per il trattamento di disturbi cardiaci, alla
pressione arteriosa, alle condizioni psicologiche, all'asma, all'attività respiratoria, ecc.,
anche alcune bevande stimolanti, droghe, l'alcol e la nicotina possono avere effetti sulla
frequenza cardiaca. È importante prestare attenzione alle proprie reazioni fisiologiche durante
l'allenamento. Se si avverte un dolore inatteso o una stanchezza eccessiva, è bene sospendere
l'allenamento o ridurne l'intensità.
Nota: i portatori di pacemaker o di altri dispositivi elettronici impiantati possono utilizzare i

L'azione combinata dell'umidità e dell'attrito può causare il distacco della superficie del
sensore di frequenza cardiaca e quindi macchiare i capi d'abbigliamento chiari. Potrebbe
anche causare il distacco di un colore più scuro dai capi d'abbigliamento, macchiando i
dispositivi di allenamento di colore più chiaro. Per mantenere per anni il colore dei dispositivi
di allenamento chiari, assicurarsi che i capi d'abbigliamento indossati durante l'allenamento
non perdano colore. Se si utilizza profumo o repellente per insetti sulla pelle, è necessario
evitare che entri in contatto con il dispositivo di allenamento o il sensore di frequenza
cardiaca. Se ci si allena in condizioni climatiche rigide (da -20° C a -10° C), si consiglia di

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
Polar-producten (trainingsapparaten, activity trackers en accessoires) zijn bedoeld om
het niveau van fysiologische inspanning en herstel aan te geven tijdens en na de training.
Trainingsapparaten en activity trackers van Polar meten de hartslag en/of geven je activiteit
aan. Polar trainingsapparaten met geïntegreerde GPS tonen de snelheid, afstand en locatie.
Met een compatibele Polar accessoire tonen de Polar trainingsapparaten snelheid en afstand,
trapfrequentie, locatie en geleverd vermogen. Zie www.polar.com/nl/producten/accessoires
voor een volledige lijst van compatibele accessoires. Polar trainingsapparaten met een
barometrische druksensor meten de hoogte en andere variabelen. De sensoren zijn niet
geschikt of bedoeld voor andere doeleinden. Het Polar trainingsapparaat dient niet te worden
gebruikt voor het verrichten van omgevingsmetingen waarvoor professionele of industriële
precisie vereist is.
Risico's tijdens trainen beperken: Trainen kan risico's met zich meebrengen. Voordat je begint
aan een vast trainingsprogramma raden wij je aan om eerst de volgende vragen betreffende je
gezondheid te beantwoorden. Als je één van de volgende vragen met "ja" beantwoordt, raden
wij je aan eerst een arts te raadplegen voordat je met een trainingsprogramma begint.
• Heb je de afgelopen vijf jaar niets aan sport gedaan?
• Heb je een hoge bloeddruk of een hoog cholesterolgehalte?
• Gebruik je medicijnen voor je bloeddruk of je hart?
• Heb je wel eens last van ademhalingsproblemen?
• Vertoon je symptomen van een ziekte?
• Ben je herstellende van een zware ziekte of medische ingreep?
• Gebruik je een pacemaker of andere geïmplanteerde elektronische apparatuur?
• Rook je?
• Ben je in verwachting?
Behalve de trainingsintensiteit, kunnen ook medicijnen voor het hart, de bloeddruk,
psychische aandoeningen, astma, ademhaling enzovoort, en sommige energiedranken,
drugs, alcohol en nicotine de hartslag beïnvloeden. Het is belangrijk om aandacht te
schenken aan de reacties van je lichaam tijdens het trainen. Als je plotseling pijn of
overmatige vermoeidheid voelt tijdens het sporten, raden wij je aan te stoppen of op een lager
inspanningsniveau verder te gaan.
Opmerking: Je kunt Polar-producten gewoon gebruiken als je een pacemaker of ander
geïmplanteerd elektronisch apparaat draagt. In theorie kunnen Polar-producten geen storing
veroorzaken voor pacemakers. In de praktijk zijn er geen rapporten die erop wijzen dat iemand
ooit storing heeft ondervonden. Vanwege de verscheidenheid aan pacemakers en andere
geïmplanteerde apparaten, kunnen wij nochtans niet officieel garanderen dat onze producten
geschikt zijn voor al deze apparaten. Als je twijfels hebt of ongewone gevoelens ervaart tijdens
het gebruik van Polar-producten, raadpleeg dan je arts of neem contact op met de fabrikant
van het elektronische apparaat om na te gaan of de veiligheid in jouw geval voldoende
gewaarborgd is.
Als je overgevoelig bent voor een stof die in contact komt met de huid, of als je een allergische
reactie vermoedt vanwege het gebruik van het product, controleer dan de in de Technische
specificaties genoemde materialen. Stop in het geval van huidreactie met het gebruik van dit
product en raadpleeg je arts. Meld je huidreactie ook bij Polar Customer Care.
Door de combinatie van vocht en voortdurend schuren kan het oppervlak van de
hartslagsensor afgeven en vlekken achterlaten op lichte kleding. Kleding kan een donkere
kleur afgeven en eventueel vlekken achterlaten op lichter gekleurde trainingsapparaten.
Zorg dat de kleding die je draagt geen kleur afgeeft om een licht gekleurd trainingsapparaat
jarenlang fleurig te houden. Als je parfum of een insectenwerend middel op je huid aanbrengt,
dien je ervoor te zorgen dat dit niet in contact komt met het trainingsapparaat of de
hartslagsensor. Als je in koude weersomstandigheden traint (-20 °C tot -10 °C / -4 °F tot 14 °F
), raden wij je aan om het trainingsapparaat onder de mouw van je jas te dragen, rechtstreeks
op je huid.
In de buurt van elektrische apparaten en WLAN-basisstations kan storing optreden. Voorkom
onregelmatige metingen door uit de buurt te blijven van mogelijke storingsbronnen. Zie

BEPERKTE INTERNATIONALE POLAR-GARANTIE
Polar Electro Oy verleent een beperkte internationale garantie voor Polar-producten. Voor
producten die in de Verenigde Staten of Canada zijn aangeschaft, wordt deze garantie
verleend door Polar Electro, Inc. Polar Electro Oy/Polar Electro Inc. garandeert de
oorspronkelijke gebruiker of koper van het Polar-product, dat dit product vrij zal zijn van
materiaal- en productiefouten gedurende twee (2) jaar na de aankoopdatum. De garantie geldt
niet voor de normale slijtage van de batterij en andere normale slijtage, schade ten gevolge
van onjuist of oneigenlijk gebruik, ongevallen, het niet voldoen aan de voorzorgsmaatregelen,
onjuist onderhoud, commercieel gebruik, gebarsten, gebroken of bekraste behuizingen of
displays, de armband, de elastische band (bijv. een borstband voor een hartslagsensor) en
Polar-kleding. De garantie geldt ook niet voor schade, verlies, kosten of uitgaven die direct,
indirect of incidenteel als gevolg van of als zodanig voortvloeien uit of samenhangen met
het product. Tweedehands gekochte producten zijn niet gedekt door de garantie. Gedurende
de garantieperiode zal het product worden gerepareerd of vervangen door één van de
erkende Polar Service Centers, ongeacht het land van aankoop. De door Polar Electro Oy/
Inc. verleende garantie heeft geen invloed op de wettelijke rechten van de klant volgens
de geldende nationale regelgeving, noch op de rechten van de klant ten opzichte van de
dealer die voortvloeien uit hun verkoop-/aankoopovereenkomst. Bewaar de kassabon als

PRECAUCIONES

de una sesión de ejercicio. Los dispositivos de entrenamiento y de seguimiento de actividad
Polar miden la frecuencia cardíaca y/o te muestran tu actividad. Los dispositivos de
entrenamiento Polar con GPS integrado muestran la velocidad, distancia y ubicación. Con un
accesorio Polar compatible, los dispositivos de entrenamiento Polar muestran la velocidad y
distancia, cadencia, ubicación y potencia de salida. Consulta www.polar.com/es/productos/

entrenamiento Polar con un sensor de presión barométrica miden la altitud y otras variables.
No debe utilizarse con otros fines. El dispositivo de entrenamiento Polar no debe utilizarse
para obtener mediciones medioambientales que requieran una precisión profesional o
industrial.

Antes de comenzar un programa de ejercicios, es recomendable que contestes a las

• ¿Has padecido alguna vez problemas respiratorios?
• ¿Presentas síntomas de alguna enfermedad?
• ¿Te estás recuperando de una enfermedad grave o de un tratamiento médico?
• ¿Utilizas un marcapasos u otro dispositivo electrónico implantado?
• ¿Fumas?
• ¿Estás embarazada?
Además de la intensidad del ejercicio, la frecuencia cardíaca puede verse afectada por
la medicación para el corazón, la tensión, afecciones psicológicas, asma, problemas
respiratorios, etc., así como por las bebidas energéticas, los medicamentos, las drogas,
el alcohol y la nicotina. Es muy importante prestar atención a las reacciones de tu cuerpo
durante el ejercicio. Si sientes un cansancio excesivo o un dolor inesperado durante el
ejercicio, se recomienda parar o continuar con una intensidad más suave.
Aviso: Si utilizas un marcapasos o cualquier otro tipo de dispositivo electrónico implantado,
puedes utilizar productos Polar. En teoría, no es posible que se produzcan interferencias en
el marcapasos causadas por los productos Polar. En la práctica, no existen informes que
indiquen que alguien haya experimentado jamás ninguna interferencia. Sin embargo, no
podemos garantizar oficialmente que nuestros productos sean aptos para el uso con todos los
marcapasos u otros dispositivos implantados debido a la variedad de dispositivos disponibles.
Si tienes cualquier duda o experimentas cualquier sensación inusual mientras usas los
productos Polar, consulta a tu médico o contacta con el fabricante del dispositivo electrónico
para determinar su seguridad en tu caso.
Si tienes alergia a cualquier material que entra en contacto con la piel o si sospechas una
reacción alérgica debido a la utilización del producto, revisa la lista de materiales que
encontrarás en las Especificaciones técnicas. Si te produce alguna reacción cutánea, deja
de utilizar el producto y consulta a tu médico. Además informe de su reacción cutánea a
Atención al cliente de Polar.
La combinación de humedad y abrasión intensa puede provocar que se desprenda color
de la superficie del sensor de frecuencia cardíaca, que posiblemente manche las prendas
de colores claros. También puede provocar que un color más oscuro se desprenda de
la ropa y pueda manchar los dispositivos de entrenamiento de colores más claros. Para
mantener intacto un dispositivo de entrenamiento de color claro durante años, asegúrate
de que las prendas que llevas durante el entrenamiento no destiñen. Si aplicas perfume
o repelente de insectos en la piel, debes asegurarte de que no entre en contacto con el
dispositivo de entrenamiento o el HR Sensor. Si entrenas en entornos fríos (de -20 a -10 °C) te
recomendamos que lleves el dispositivo de entrenamiento debajo de la manga de la chaqueta,
en contacto con tu piel.
Pueden producirse interferencias cerca de los dispositivos electrónicos y puntos de acceso
WLAN. Para evitar lecturas erráticas y otros problemas, aléjate de las posibles fuentes de

Polar Electro Oy emite una garantía internacional limitada para los productos Polar. Para
