Description

The device Regolatore Thermologika Soleil Plus
(indicated as RTSP
regulator,
intended
workmanlike construction and designed to withstand
the test of time.
To ensure a long service life and overall electrical and
mechanical reliability, it must be properly used and
subjected to regular maintenance.
Specifically intended for Thermologika Soleil
appliance, it must not be coupled with other
appliances.
Warning! The appliance must be connected to a fixed
power supply network.
RTSP is composed of:
- an ABS painted front panel with control built-in;
- a rear case made in plastic material (PA 66V0) on a
painted sheet metal base;
- an aluminium heat dissipator (fig.1), on the back of
the casing;
- an electronic control board;
- a Schuko 16A socket (fig. 2a);
- an on/off switch with a lighting point, on the front of
the container (fig. 2b); the light comes on to signal
that the slave appliance has been switched
- a switch/regulator, to control heating power;
- a cable 227 IEC 53 (RW) 3X1,5 mm
a length of 1.0 m;
The CE mark certifies RTSP compliance with current
safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Use

RTSP is specifically for controlling Thermologika Soleil
Plus appliances.
The device is a soft-start type, for infrared lamp
protection.
Its operation is based on the principle of phase
control; RTSP it enables gradually varying the power
on the load from 30% to 100% of the total by turning
the knob (fig. 2c). In this way it is possible to regulate
comfort according to the desired temperature.
When using the appliance, observe the safety
distances required by current regulations for
appliances with water protection class IPX0.

• Do not use this appliance for functions other than
those described in this booklet.
• After removing the appliance from its packaging,
ensure that it is complete and undamaged. If in
doubt contact Vortice. Do not leave packaging
within the reach of children or differently able

• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If
any faults are found, do not operate the appliance;
contact Vortice immediately.
• The electrical system to which the appliance is
connected must conform to applicable standards.
• The appliance must be installed by professionally
qualified personnel.
• The appliance must be connected to an efficient
earthing system in accordance with applicable
electrical safety standards. If in doubt, ask a
qualified electrician to check your system.
• Connect the appliance to a fixed power supply
network with an impedance lower or equal at
|Z|=0,333Ω.
• Connect the device as shown in the wiring diagram
(fig. 4)
• Check that the electrical power supply/socket
provides the maximum electrical power required by
the appliance. If it cannot do so, arrange for a
qualified electrician to make the necessary
modifications.
• When installing the appliance, fit a multi-pole
thermomagnetic cutout, with a contact gap of at
least 3 mm.
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy
blow, have it checked immediately by Vortice.
• Switch the appliance off immediately if it
malfunctions or develops a fault. Then contact
Vortice immediately. Ensure that only genuine
original Vortice spares are used for any repairs.
• Switch off the appliance at the installation's main
switch: a) if the appliance does not function
correctly; b) if the appliance is not to be used for any
length of time.
• Do not use the regulator for fluorescent or energy
saving lamps.
