• Do not use the regulator for electric motors or
transformers.
• Any use other than as stated in this instructions
handbook can damage RTSP, besides causing
short-circuiting and fires.

• Pay special attention when using it in rooms that are
not manned.
• The appliance's safety guard has been specially
designed to prevent direct access to the heater
elements; this guard must be kept in position at all
times during operation.
Installation
RTSP must always be secured, with screws and
plugs, on vertical walls and on non-flammable and/or
indeformable surfaces (e.g., tiled walls).
The controller must be positioned at a distance of not
less than 2 m from objects made of flammable
materials, such as cardboard or fabric, and from glass
doors and windows.
The regulator must not be fitted inside containers or
cabinets because a lack of ventilation would damage
it.
The dissipator heats up during operation; fitting the
regulator in contact with flammable surfaces is a fire
hazard.
If installation on wooden, laminate or wallpapered
walls is required, it is necessary to leave a gap of at
least 10 mm between the dissipator and the wall to
ensure proper ventilation.
Operation
Make sure the switch is turned onto 0 (OFF). (fig. 2b)
Connect the slave appliance to the Schuko socket on
the regulator (fig. 2a).
Regulate the potentiometer according to the desired
power (from MIN to MAX) (fig. 2c).
A slight buzzing noise is normal during operation.
WARNING: Do not use extensions or cables to
connect the regulator to the power mains; use the
cable and plug supplied. Always connect the
regulator to sockets with grounding.

Maintenance/Cleaning

RTSP is maintenance free. It must be cleaned from
time to time with a dry antistatic cloth.
WARNING: Before doing any cleaning, switch off
must
the appliance and unplug it from the power supply.
Do not use any liquids for cleaning. Do not use any
sharp tools for cleaning (e.g., screwdrivers, files,
brushes, etc.)
