The instrument is intended for suctioning liquids. Do not use it
to suction solid pieces of tissue as it can otherwise become
blocked.
Do not use in the presence of combustible or explosive materi-
als!
Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Protect the product from all physical damage! Do not throw! Do
not apply force of any kind! Do not kink the cable and tube or
wrap them round the product to which they belong!
Erbe recommends that the product should not be reprocessed
after use. Reprocessing can affect the material properties and/
or function of the product such that use in accordance with the
intended use is no longer possible. Risks include:
• Components/connections that are damaged by high tem-
peratures (e.g. in the autoclave).
• Components (e.g. filter, extremely small lumen, etc.) that
may prevent internal cleaning/disinfection.
Erbe Elektromedizin expressly warns against modifying the
product. Any modification exempts Erbe Elektromedizin from
any and all liability.

Operating principle

Via the finger switch, the monopolar applicator (applied part)
generates an activation request on the connected electrosurgical
unit. The current generated by the unit is conducted via a cable
at the instrument electrode. The separation medium is chan-
neled from the pump cartridge through the instrument via the
supply line. The required pressure and jet shape of the waterjet
are generated at the nozzle at the distal end. The vacuum gen-
erated in the suction container is directed via the suction line to
