Unit settings

This chapter describes unit settings that may be used to operate
the product without causing damage.
6.1

Permitted settings on the ERBEJET 2

All effect levels of the ERBEJET 2 may be used. Please match the
effect and thus pressure of the water jet to the organ you are
working on.
6.2

Permitted settings on the external suction unit

The suction pressure at the external suction unit must not ex-
ceed a maximum of –800 mbar.
6.3

Permitted settings on the Erbe VIO

For a monopolar COAG mode:
• Effect: Effect with an electrosurgical peak voltage (U HF)

1.) The electrosurgical peak voltage of an effect depends on the mode
selected and on the power setting (watts) used. More information on
selecting an appropriate effect is provided in the User Manual of the
VIO electrosurgical unit.
