1. Release the cutting safety.
2. Close the hand trigger as far as it goes.
When closing the hand trigger, the cutting blade travels for-
ward in the instrument jaws and separates the grasped tissue.
3. Actively open the hand trigger beyond the lock-in position
until in the fully open position.
