Functions added by the firmware update

The following three functions have been added.
1) Wi-Fi Setup (see page 5)
Previously the CPF-IX001 wireless LAN setup was performed using a computer, but this firmware
update lets users perform the wireless LAN setup using only the CPF-IX001 (Wi-Fi Setup). Users
should select the setup method according to the operating environment.
2) PARTY MODE (see page 7)
If you have more than one CPF-IX001/TDM-NC1, you can enjoy listening to the same music in
different rooms.
3) My Name (see page 9)
You can assign an optional name to the CPF-IX001. When using multiple CPF-IX001, you can view
the names of the connected CPF-IX001 in the PLAYLISTS window of the M-crew Server software.
In addition, the following item has also changed.
• Network menu name change
The "WLAN SETUP?" name has been changed to "SETUP BY PC?". However, the function is
unchanged.

Required application software

With this firmware update, it is also necessary to upgrade the M-crew Server software version you are
using.
Required application software: M-crew Server Ver. 2.5.0.0 or newer
Notes
• Users who have already installed M-crew Server Ver. 2.5.0.0 or newer do not need to upgrade the version.
• For details on installation, refer to the Installation instructions supplied with the M-crew Server software.
