Confirm the version of the current
firmware is 1.00A or 1.01A.

Select the firmware file.
Click [Browse] to show the window for
selecting the firmware.

Click [Send] to update.
If you select the right firmware, updating
starts. Click [Restart] when the update is
completed.
If you select an incorrect firmware, click
[Retry] and select the correct one.
Note
Do not restart the CPF-IX001, set it to the suspended
mode, or turn off the power while updating the
firmware.
Setting of wireless LAN
connection

— Wi-Fi Setup

Check that the WIRELESS/WIRED
selector on the network unit is set to
WIRELESS.

Turn on the CPF-IX001.

Press SUSPEND to start up the
network unit.

Confirm the settings of your wireless
system.
Check the following items of your wireless
LAN router to set the same information for
the CPF-IX001.
SSID (Wireless Network Name):

If your wireless LAN router security is
enabled,
Wireless Network Key:

Note
The wireless connection setup must be made
using a computer if;
– you set the wireless network key (WEP) to
other than "WEP key No. 1".
– you set the wireless LAN router not to transmit
SSID (stealth mode).
For details, refer to the Quick Setup Guide
included with the CPF-IX001, or "Explanation of
wireless setup windows" and "Wireless LAN
Setup window" under "Additional information"
in the Operating Instructions included with the
CPF-IX001.
