INSTALLATION
Pallet Mounting
Mount the accumulator block directly on the pallet using the 3 M8 x 1,25 socket
head capscrews.
NOTE: Allow enough clearance to access and operate handle. Handle position
can be adjusted.
Manifold Mounting
In single-acting circuits, the accumulator block can be manifold mounted using
the manifold port at the bottom of the block. For double-acting circuits, the
optional retract port must be used. See page 4.
Remove the port screw plug (A) and copper gasket from the manifold port.
Lubricate the o-ring (B) and install it in the counter-bore around the port prior to
mounting the block. Be sure that the o-ring does not get pinched or damaged
during mounting as leakage could result. To prevent leakage from the manifold
mounting, provide a fixture mounting surface with a surface roughness average
(R
NOTE: Manifold hole should not exceed Ø 7,6 mm (Ø.30 in.) when port is used.
Repositioning the Handle
The handle may be repositioned in 45° increments. Reposition the handle by
removing the bolt (C) and lockwasher. Adjust handle position as desired and
replace lockwasher and bolt.
Accumulators
The accumulators on both the ACBS-22 and ACBS-202 are pre-charged with
Nitrogen to bar (1300 psi). Refer to the instruction sheet L2162 for information
on the accumulators.
