Caution:
The unit must be switched off and disconnected from the mains
electricity supply before commencing cleaning, maintenance or
repairs.
• Before starting the unit always check the mains cable, connecting
cable and hoses for any signs of damage.
According to §39 (3) VBG 1, safety features that prevent or
eliminate the occurrence of hazardous situations must be regularly
maintained, and checked at least once per year that they are

Minor care and maintenance tasks can be carried out by yourself.
Remember to always pull out the mains plug from the socket.
We recommend that you arrange for our Customer Service engineers

following tasks must be carried out at least once per year:

• Check the suction power (renew seals if necessary).
B. Leaking filter
• Check that the filter is properly seated.
• Check the filter for damage (renew filter if necessary).
C. Shut-down and indicator functions
• Check whether the indicator functions properly.
When replacing the filter it is important that the corresponding
safety measures are adhered to; e.g. the filter should be
replaced in the open and not inside an enclosed space, and a
respiratory protection mask should be worn if necessary.
• Release the container by pulling the retaining clips upwards.
• Lift off the blower assembly, and lay it on its back.
• Undo the knurled screw, pull off the filter cartridge, and fit
replacement (for order no. – see Accessories section).
• Remount blower assembly onto the container, and lock the
retaining clips in place.
Important: Ensure that the blower assembly is seated properly
(location); switch position - towards the rear.
Dispose of the dirty filter in a plastic bag that can be sealed and
is not liable to sustain damage during transport.
