Cleaning-operation of the spray gun PILOT WA 100 flushable
Note
To guarantee that the spray guns are completely functional in the first impulse from
the control valves even if there is a long break between the individual marking pro-
cesses, the nozzle tip and the gap in the air cap should be cleaned after the mar-
king process (as a function of the spraying material used). For this automatic
cleaning cycle, the marking device must be equipped with the V 2036900100 scou-
ring device.
1.
Start the round jet air of the spray gun.
2.
Set at the scouring device; • the spraying air for the couring agent of approx.
1.5 - 2 bar (it has adjusted minimum 0.5 bar higher than the round jet air of the
spray gun. • the material pressure of the couring agent approx. 0.8 - 1.0 bar
(depends upon the material).
3.
An air/scouring agent mixture generated in the spray gun is fed through a scou-
ring channel (integrated in the individual gun and the block system) for some
seconds. (The time depends upon the spraying material used).
4.
After this, compressed air (approx. 2 -2.5 bar) is sent through for some
seconds (approx. 10 - 15 sec.), with the result that the residue of the scouring
agent is blown out. The precise actuation of the scouring and drying times must
be done on the customer's system control unit.
5.
Close the round jet air of the spray gun.
All pressures should then be removed from the complete spraying system until the
next operation.
