4. Trouble shooting and maintenance
4.1 Unable to build up pressure
This is usually caused by air in the system.
Ensure all pressure connections and joints are
tightened. Ensure that no air is present in the reservoir,
see section 3.
Gently release the bleeding nut, on the oil reservoir
connector, until air-free oil emerges. Tighten the nut
and try pumping again.
4.2 Removing and replacing the pressure gauge
To remove the pressure gauge, rotate the lower nut
anticlockwise:
To refit the pressure gauge:
Screw and tighten the pressure gauge into connector B.
Then screw connector B into connector A (take care
this is a left hand thread!), until a gap of approximately
B -
1 mm exists between A & B.

Screw the complete assembly into the injector.
When connector A is almost tight, turn and hold
the pressure gauge to the correct position. Tighten
connector A completely. Do not tighten connector B.
