Preparations before use
•
Read the Safety Recommendations before starting any work
•
Inspect all components for damage. Pay particular attention to high pressure pipes.
Damaged high pressure pipes must not be used and should be discarded
•
For mounting operations it is recommended to use oil with a viscosity of
approximately 300 mm
For dismounting operations, its is recommended to use oil with a viscosity of
approximately 900 mm
•
Use only clean oil. Dirty oil can permanently damage the internal workings of the
unit (see 4.4)
•
Fill the oil reservoir. Immerse the end in a container of clean oil. Pull the handle to
suck the oil into the reservoir.
•
Turn the reservoir upside-down and push on the
ball to remove any air from the reservoir
•
Screw the reservoir onto the injector,
air escapes from the nipple
NOTE:
The upper nut can be loosened to enable the reservoir
to be positioned. When in the desired position, tighten
the upper nut before screwing in the reservoir.
