What Is the Remote UI?
The Remote UI is a function that enables you to confirm
the status of the machine, configure settings, and
manage the machine remotely from your computer.

What the Remote UI Can Do
You can configure and manage the following from a
computer.
Checking the Job Status and Job Logs
)
You can check jobs that are being executed and
finished jobs. You can also change the order of jobs.
Registering Settings and Restarting the Machine
)
You can register and edit settings on the machine. You
can also remotely turn OFF or restart the machine.
Managing the Address Book
)
You can manage the Address Book and register new
destinations from a computer. Using a keyboard that
you are used to makes editing destinations easy.
Direct Printing
)
You can print a file on the desktop of your computer
directly with the machine.
Installing Software
)
You can install new software and update software.
Only the administrator can change the settings.
Checking Consumables
)
You can check the remaining amount of paper, toner,
and other consumables.
Importing/Exporting Registered Information
You can import/export various information, such as the
Address Book, One-Touch buttons, and Web Access
information. You can share exported information with
another imageRUNNER ADVANCE.
Switching the Login Service
The machine supports the following login services.
You can switch the login service to use from "Service
Management Service (SMS)" in the Remote UI.
User Authentication

You can manage login information by the ID and
password assigned to each user. Use this when you
need to configure settings differently for each user.
DepartmentID Management
)
You can manage login information by the ID and PIN
assigned to each department. You can set various
settings, such as setting the machine to count the
number of pages printed and restricting the use of the
Copy function.
