Safety
• Ensure that there is main power to the unit has been turned off at the breaker prior to servicing the unit.
• In the event of a refrigerant leak, turn the unit off immediately and contact a qualified professional for service.
• The installation and service engineer shall ensure that the refrigerant leaks comply with local laws and regulations.
• The outdoor fan must not face plants, or the blowing gas will dry them up.
• When installing the unit on the roof or on other higher surfaces, to prevent the person from falling down, please fix
a ladder and railing at the passageway.
• Use a two-end spanner and fasten the nut at the correct torque. Do not fasten the nut excessively against the
flared section, or it will cause refrigerant leakage and shortage in oxygen supply.
• Ensure adequate heat insulation to the refrigerant pipe, or the resultant leakage and condensation may damage
personal belongings.
• After installing the refrigerant pipe, test for leakage by charging nitrogen. In case the refrigerant leaks into the room
and exceeds the concentration limits, it may result in a lack of oxygen.
• Do not use refrigerants other than R410A, whose pressure is 1.6 times higher than that of R22. The R410A tank is
marked in pink.
• Prepare the R410A specific tools according to the table below.

Leakage detector
• Only copper wire can be used. A breaker for electric leakage should be provided, or electric shocks may occur.
• When charging, the refrigerant must be retrieved in liquid state from the tank.
• In rooms with fluorescent lamps (the reverse or fast-start types), the remote-control signal transmission may not
reach the predetermined value, so the machine should be installed away from the fluorescent lamp as far as
possible.
• To prevent the destruction of wires, electrical components, etc. by rats or other animals.
• Recommended room ventilation every 3 to 4 hours.
Inspection upon arrival
• Upon receiving the machine, check whether there are transport damages. If any damage is found on the surface or
inside, it shall be reported immediately to the shipping company in writing.
• Check the product model, electrical parameters (power supply, voltage, frequency), and accessories to determine
whether they meet the prescribed requirements.
• For the tightening torque of the stop valve refer to the following table:
