Set nailing depth

You can set the nailing depth of the fasteners into the wood by
turning the adjusting wheel of the firing protection device and by
regulating the working pressure.

Regulate working pressure

The nailing depth of the fastener into the wood can be set by
adjusting the working pressure. With higher working pressure, the
fasteners are driven in deeper, with lower working pressure less
deeply.
Set the working pressure at the tool such that the desired
nailing depth is just obtained. This offers the following
advantages:
 You save energy (compressed air),
 You reduce the noise level, and
 You reduce the wear on the tool.
To adjust the working pressure at the tool, proceed as follows:
 Hold the tool so that you can easily read the pressure gauge for
the working pressure (1) and the tool nose (2) is facing
downwards.
 Pull the regulator for the working pressure (3) to the right away
from the handle.
Then set the desired working pressure between 3.5 and 10 bar at the
regulator for the working pressure (3) and the nailing depth as
follows:
 To increase the working pressure and nailing depth, turn the
regulator for the working pressure in clockwise direction.
 To reduce the working pressure and nailing depth, turn the
regulator for the working pressure in anti-clockwise direction.
A quarter turn of the regulator for the working pressure
changes the working pressure by roughly 0.5 bar.
