11 Switching the Pressure Washer On and Off
To test the GFCI:
► Connect the power supply cord to a properly installed
electrical outlet that matches the voltage and electrical
frequency stated on the pressure washer's rating plate. A
red indicator plate inside the window (2) will become
visible.
► Depress the TEST button (1).
The red indicator plate inside the window (2) should not be
visible anymore.
► If the indicator plate remains visible after depressing the
TEST button, the GFCI is not working. Disconnect the
pressure washer from the power supply and have it
inspected by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer before
further use.
► Before starting work, always reset the GFCI as described
in chapter @ 10.2.

10.2 Resetting the GFCI
To reset the GFCI:

► If depressing the TEST button has interrupted the current
and the red indicator plate inside the window (2) is no
longer visible, depress the RESET button (3).
The indicator plate should become visible again.
► If the indicator plate is not visible after depressing the
RESET button, the GFCI is not working. Disconnect the
pressure washer from the power supply and have it
inspected by an authorized STIHL servicing dealer before
further use.

11.1 Switching On
WARNING
Never operate your pressure washer if it is damaged,
improperly adjusted or maintained, not completely and
securely assembled or not functioning properly, @ 5.5. To
reduce the risk of personal injury, always wear proper
clothing and protective apparel, including proper eye
protection, when operating your pressure washer, @ 5.4.
