2. Care and maintenance

Surface filter
Exhaust air filter
CAUTION:
Switch off the unit and pull out the mains cable before cleaning,
servicing or repairing.
• If the unit is not to be used for a prolonged period, drain off all the
water otherwise unpleasant odours may occur.
• Check mains cable, connection cables and hoses for damage
before each start-up.
• Unlock the tank catches on both sides by pulling up.
• Detach suction head with handle and place on rear.
• Release the clips, and remove the flat panel filter and its frame
<A>.
• Push the filter out of the frame <B>.
• Fit either a new or cleaned filter into the frame, hook the frame into
the loops, and snap the clips into place.
Important: Ensure that the connecting rod for the filter cleaning
mechanism is slotted into the tab < C >.
• Place the suction head on the tank and lock with the tank catches.
Important: Ensure that the suction head is correctly mounted,
i.e. the switch is at the front.

• Clean the exhaust air filter at regular intervals.
- The exhaust filter can be removed after unlocking the rear
shutter.
- Rinse off under running water.
- The filter must be replaced if very dirty (see accessories for
order no.).
