• CAUTION! Always use the right tool for the job. For
30
example, do not use small tools or accessories for
work that requires heavy tools. Use tools only for
the purposes for which they were designed. Always
keep your tools clean and sharp.
• CAUTION! Make sure you wear appropriate cloth-
ing. Avoid loose clothing and jewellery. They can
be caught by moving machine parts. For outdoor
work, we recommend the use of work gloves and
non-slip work shoes. Long hair must be adequately
protected.
• CAUTION! Use personal protective equipment.
Safety goggles and hearing protection must always
be worn. A dust mask or face mask is also required.
When handling sharp blades and saw blades, always
wear tight gloves.
• CAUTION! Use the dust extractor. Devices have
been provided for extracting and collecting dust,
which must be connected and used correctly. Make
sure that dust and sawdust are always diverted
away from you and other persons who may be in
the vicinity.
• CAUTION! Pay attention to the power cable. Do not
pull the cable. Only grasp the plug to disconnect
it. Keep the cable away from heat sources, oil and
sharp edges.
• CAUTION! Secure the workpiece. Use suitable
clamps, grips, etc. This is always safer than holding
the workpiece by hand. This way, you'll also have
both hands free for work.
• CAUTION! Always pay attention to your balance
and stability. For example, do not bend too far for-
ward or to one side when reaching for something.
• CAUTION! Remove socket wrenches etc. All tools,
such as wrenches, must be removed before the
machine is switched on.
• CAUTION! Prevent accidental switching on. Always
make sure that the tool on the appliance switch is
switched off before plugging the mains plug into
the socket.
• CAUTION! Use special extension cables for outdoor
applications. For outdoor use you need special
extension cables which are suitable and marked
accordingly.
• CAUTION! Always pay attention. Pay attention to
what you are doing. Use your common sense. Do
not use power tools when you are tired.
• CAUTION! Pay attention to damaged parts. Ex-
amine the tool before using it. Are individual parts
damaged? In case of slight damage, make a serious
assessment as to whether the tool will still function
properly and safely. Ensure that moving parts are
correctly aligned and adjusted. Do the parts engage
correctly with each other? Are parts damaged? Is
everything installed correctly? Are all other prereq-
uisites correct for proper functioning? Damaged
safety devices etc. must be properly repaired or
replaced by qualified personnel, unless otherwise
expressly stated in the operating instructions.
Defective switches must be replaced by a licensed
service centre. Do not use the tool if it cannot be
turned on and off properly with the power switch.
Replace the table insert if it is worn out. In the un-
likely event that you find any faults on the machine
(including protective guards and circular saw blade),
please contact your local Service Centre.
• CAUTION! Avoid electric shock. Avoid any physical
contact with grounded objects such as water pipes,
radiators, stoves and refrigerator housings.
• CAUTION! Only use approved parts. Only use
identical spare parts for maintenance and repair.
Contact an approved service centre for spare parts.
• WARNING! Using accessories and attachments that
are not expressly recommended in these operating
instructions can endanger persons and objects.
• CAUTION! The machine meets the requirements of
EN 61000-3-11 and is subject to special connection
criteria. This means that the machine may not be
used at any arbitrary connection points.
• CAUTION! The machine can cause temporary volt-
age fluctuations in poor mains supply conditions.
• CAUTION! The machine is intended exclusively
for use at connection points which do not exceed
a max. permissible mains impedance of Zmax =
0.233 Ω.
• CAUTION! As the user, you must ensure (if
necessary, in consultation with your power supply
company) that the connection point at which you
wish to operate the machine meets the above
requirements.
CAUTION!
Always use the push rod for all work.
CAUTION!
Check the saw for damaged or even missing
parts and guards before each start-up. Operation
is not permitted in this state.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS –
