• Never work without the saw blade guard.
• Before using the machine for the first time, check
that the electrical data on the rating plate match the
specifications of the power supply.
• When using an extension cord, make sure that the
cable is sufficient for the specified power consump-
tion. Diameter min. 1.0 mm
• Keep the machine table and the entire workstation
clean; remove sawdust and remove objects that are
no longer needed.
• Be aware of dangerous tripping hazards in the vicin-
ity of the saw, e.g. power cables.
• A person working on the machine should not be
distracted.
• Pay attention to the direction of rotation of the mo-
tor and the circular saw blade.
• After switching off the motor, the saw blade must
under no circumstances be braked by applying
lateral force.
• Use only proper saw blades, i.e. well sharpened and
free of cracks, gaps, deformations etc. Faulty saw
blades must be replaced immediately.
• Make sure that the arrow on the saw blade points in
the same direction as the arrow on the machine.
• Under no circumstances may the protective devices
of the machine be dismantled or rendered inopera-
tive in any way.
• Damaged or defective protective devices must be
replaced immediately. If you are disturbed while
working with the saw, always finish the work you are
doing before looking up.
• Your workpiece should always be on the machine
table. Never use the tool with the object to be sawn
situated outside the table.
• Make sure that you always place your hands
securely, i.e., so that they cannot suddenly slip and
come into contact with the saw.
• If you are working with a long workpiece, please
use an additional support or rack to prevent the saw
from jamming.
• The part of the workpiece to be sawn must be free
of nails and other foreign objects. When working
with the saw, always stand at the side of the circular
saw blade.
• Do not overload the machine, causing it to run
slower and overheat.
• Never saw several workpieces at the same time.
• Always use a push rod.
• Do not attempt to remove loose splinters or pieces
of wood or a jammed workpiece without turning off
the saw and unplugging the power cord.
• To rectify defects or remove workpieces, always
switch off the machine and disconnect the plug

ing, etc. after switching off the motor and discon-

slightly impaired actually function properly.
• Check that all moving parts are functioning
properly. Pay particular attention to damages and
jamming parts. All parts must be correctly installed
and meet all conditions for proper functioning.
• Unless otherwise stated in these operating instruc-
tions, damaged parts and safety devices must be
repaired or replaced by a licensed service centre.
• Replace damaged switches by a licensed service
centre.
• This tool complies with all relevant safety regula-
tions. Repairs may only be carried out by qualified
electricians in authorised service centres using
original spare parts. Non-compliance may result in
accidents.
• Notching, etc., should not be carried out with this
machine or only with a suitable protective device
above the table (encloses all around).
• This saw must not be used for joining work (e.g.
offset cuts etc.).

OPERATION
• All safety and protective devices must be properly
installed and in place before the machine can be
switched on.
• Never saw pieces of wood that are so small that they
can no longer be held securely.
