6) Regulating the post-gas time - proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME welding.
7) Activating and regulating DC pulse – proceed as described for TIG 2 TIME
welding.
8) If you want to operate with a remote control (CAD), refer to the chapter on
PREPARING THE REMOTE/PEDAL/TORCH UP-DOWN CONTROL on page 20.
Procedure for TIG WELDING WITH RESET (DOUBLE PARAMETER) with HF
start
Starting welding:
1) Press the HF ON button (ref.7 page 9) ; the HF ON led lights up (ref.7A page
9) .
2) Bring the tip of the electrode (tungsten) close to the piece to be welded.
3) Press the torch button: after 0.5 seconds of PRE-GAS, the arc is lit by the HF
generator and the welding process begins. The current goes to the base value
selected with the bC button (ref.15 page 9).
4) When the torch button is released the current will go to the set value A with an
up slope, with a value selected using the SU button (ref.8 page 9).
By pressing the torch button briefly (less than 0.5 seconds), you can pass
directly from the set current value A to the final current value BC and vice
versa.
End of welding:
1) Press the torch button: the current gradually falls with the time set by means of
the Sd button (ref.14 page 9); the arc remains at the final current value set with the
bC button (ref 15 page 9).
2)Release the torch button: the arc goes out and then there will be the POST-GAS
time set by means of the PG button (ref.17 page 9).
Procedure for TIG WELDING WITH RESET (DOUBLE PARAMETER) with LIFT
start (without HF)
Starting welding:
1) Check that the HF ON led (ref.7A page 9) is off. If it is not, press the HF ON
button (ref.7 page 9) ; the HF ON led goes off (ref.7A page 9).
2) Bring the tip of the electrode (tungsten) into contact with the piece to be welded.
3) Press the torch button: gas will come out immediately, lift the torch from the side
so as to move slightly away from the piece to be welded and start the welding
process; the current goes to the base value selected with the bC (ref.15 page 9).
4) When the torch button is released the current will go to the set value A with an
up slope, with a value selected using the SU button (ref.8 page 9).
By pressing the torch button briefly (less than 0.5 seconds ), you can pass
directly from the set current value A to the final current value BC and vice
versa.
End of welding:
1) Follow the same procedure described for TIG WELDING WITH RESET
(DOUBLE PARAMETER) with HF start.
