Controller Access Instructions
To remove control panel housing:
• Turn the smoker off and unplug
the smoker from power source.
• Open the smoker door.
• Remove the two screws
on each side of the control panel
housing and the five screws on the
bottom of the control panel housing.
• Gently lift the control panel housing
and unplug all connectors.
To reassemble components:
• Confirm the smoker is powered off
and not plugged into a power source.
• Follow removal steps in reverse
order to reassemble smoker.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Each custom smoke setting uses a different element
cycleing sequence. Each wood type will perform different
under each setting, change to a higher smoke setting.
Unplug connection and reconnect. Reference custom
smoke element/probe access instructions.

Tool needed for access: Phillips head screwdriver.
To access main HTL:
• Turn the smoker off and unplug the smoker from
power source.
• Remove the six (6) screws from main HTL access
panel and then remove panel and rubber gasket. Fig C1.
• Carefully pull back silicon cover from female leads and
disconnect from male spades. Fig C2.
To reassemble components:
• Confirm the smoker is powered off and not plugged into
a power source.
• Follow removal steps in reverse order to reassemble smoker.
Tool needed for access: Phillips head screwdriver.
