4. Make sure that the filter holder is not
attached and position a container under
the drip spout of the appliance.

half of the tank and, from time to time,
rotate the steam knob and allow a little of
the solution to come out. Then stop the
flow by pressing the switch again.

SOLUTION
• Wait until the "OK" pilot light is on.
• Carry out the preheating, as
described in the "Preheating the
appliance" section.
• Preheat the cups by rinsing them
with hot water.
• Fill the water tank. correctly and
rotate it as far as it will go;
• Clean the holes in the spouts.
• Attach the filter holder correctly
and rotate it as far as it will go.
• Have the gasket of the espresso
hot water generator replaced at a
Service Centre.
• Clean the holes in the spouts.
• Fill the tank.
• Press the ground coffee more
strongly.
• Increase the quantity of coffee.
• Only use ground coffee for
espresso coffee makers.
• Press the coffee less.
• Decrease the quantity of ground
coffee used.
• Only use ground coffee for
espresso coffee machines.
• Rinse the appliance as described
in the "SCALE REMOVAL" sec-
tion.
• Always use milk at refrigerator
temperature.
• Clean the holes of the cappucci-
no nozzle thoroughly.
