The actual measurement consists of four different phases:
Phase 1 „Baseline"
Phase 2 „Testing"
Phase 3 „Recovery"
Phase 4 „Results"
The connection with the oximeter will be established automatically.
Tap on <Autofill> to display SpO2 and heart rate data received
from the Nonin Sensor in the
<Autofill> needs to be tapped repeatedly since the displayed values are not
updated continuously.
Phase 1 is a preparation phase of 10 minutes
designed to make the patient relax.
The measurement data will automatically be
transferred from the Nonin Sensor to the
tablet PC.
The 6-Minute Walk Test starts in the test phase.
The measurement data of the test phase will be
displayed in the recovery phase.
The results of the Walk Test will be displayed in
the result phase.
If this is not the case, it is possible
to establish a connection
manually via the menu item
"Connect device".
SPOT CHECK DATA
The preparation phase takes 10
minutes. The clock counts down
from 10 to 0.
In this phase, the patient's
values are resting values.
Increased heart rate or a low
SpO2 value could indicate that
the patient is not relaxed yet.
