13. Engine oil recommendation

Selecting the correct engine oil:
The correct choice of SAE class for petrol and Diesel engines depends on the outdoor temperature
(according to season and region).
Table 1 shows you the correct SAE class for the predominant air temperatures. Values above or below
the approximate values are permitted temporarily.
Example:
For a petrol engine used in the temperature range from 0°C to +20°C, the table recommends 10W40,
15W40 or SAE 30.
