• This device should not be used adjacent to, or stacked with other equipment. If adjacent
or stacked use is necessary, this device should be observed to verify normal operation.
• Before each use, check that the hose connections on the nebulizer and the atomizer are
tight. Use of an improperly assembled nebulizer could diminish or prevent adequate deliv-
ery of medication and the effectiveness of the treatment.
• Portable and mobile RF communication devices can disrupt electrical medical equipment.
Technical electromagnetic compatibility data is available on request from Beurer customer
service. (Please see warranty for service contact)
• Never block the air vents of this product or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or
couch, where the air vents may be blocked. Keep the air vents free of lint, hair and similar
substances. Blockage could cause excessive heat buildup.
• Never cover the unit during operation. Covering could cause excessive heat buildup.
• This unit is not intended for commercial or clinical use, but only for individual, private
household use! Do not allow others to use it.
• Do not allow any objects to enter or obstruct the air vents.
• Lay the power cord in such a way that no one can trip over it. There is a danger of injury
due to e.g. stumbling, tripping, falling down.
• Do not tilt or shake the unit when in use.
• Essential oils, cough medicines, solutions designed for gargling, and drops for application
to the skin or for use in steam baths are wholly unsuitable for inhalation using a nebulizer.
These substances are often highly viscous and can impair the correct function of the de-
vice and hence affect the effectiveness of its application in the long term.
• The atomizer and accessories must not be mechanically cleaned with brushes or the like
as this can cause irreparable damage and may render the treatment ineffective.
• For additional requirements regarding the necessary hygienic preparations (hand wash-
ing, handling of medicines or inhalation solutions) in high-risk groups (e.g. cystic fibrosis
patients), contact your physician.
• Check the atomizer, mouthpiece, and any other optional components before each use.
Dirty, damaged and/or worn parts may diminish or eliminate the effectiveness of treat-
ment. Replace damaged and/or worn parts. Dirty parts must be cleaned following all hy-
giene instructions. (see section 8.1 Cleaning and Disinfection)
• When cleaning, ensure that all residues are removed. Never use any substances that may
be poisonous upon contact with the skin or mucous membranes, or when swallowed or
inhaled. When in doubt, contact your physician for advice.
• Never use an atomizer with a clogged nozzle. If the nozzle is clogged, the aerosol mist will
be reduced, altered or stopped, which will diminish or eliminate the effectiveness of the
treatment.
• Follow the instructions for changing the filter contained in these instructions. A contami-
nated filter can impair the correct function of the device and represents a risk to your
health.

CAUTION

• Do not strongly pull the elastic band of the adult mask and child mask. The ends of the
elastic band may slip out and hurt you (e.g. your eyes).
• Do not operate the nebulizer without a filter.
• Check the filter at regular intervals (at the latest after every 10th use). If the filter is very
contaminated or blocked, replace the used filter. If the filter has become wet, it must also
be replaced with a new one.
• Do not try to clean and re-use the used filter!
