Changing the filter cartridge (3).
The filter cartridge may only be used for
dry vacuuming.
Always keep the filter cartridge dry and
clean. To clean the filter cartridge, knock
it out regularly.
Should the vacuuming performance no
long prove sufficient, change the filter car-
tridge.
Open the latches (7) on both sides and
remove the top of the vacuum cleaner.
Turn the knurled nuts on the base of
the filter cartridge anti-clockwise and
remove the filter cartridge.
Replace a new filter cartridge, centring
it correctly, and tighten the knurled
nuts by turning them clockwise.
Place the top of the vacuum cleaner on
again and close the latches (7).
Assembling the vacuum hose (4).
Insert the vacuum hose fully in the hose
connection piece until it sits firmly.
To remove the vacuum hose, press the
release knob and pull the vacuum hose
out.
The accessories are assembled by pressing
them in gently. To detach the parts,
untwist them slightly, pulling them apart at
the same time.
Handling.
Switching ON/OFF (1).
First check that the cable and plug are
not damaged.
For operating the vacuum cleaner without
a connected power tool, set the mode
selector switch (2) to (M).
12
Switching the vacuum cleaner ON:
Turn the switch (1) to (I).
Switching the vacuum cleaner OFF:
Turn the switch (1) to (0).
Connecting the power tool.
Before using the socket for the power
tools, switch off the vacuum cleaner first.
Only insert the power tool plug in the
power tool socket when the power tool is
switched-off.
The vacuum cleaner is switched on and off
automatically by the power tool con-
nected to the power tool socket.
Insert the mains plug of the power tool
in the power tool socket.
Turn the switch (1) to (I).
Turn the mode selector switch (2)
to (A).
Switch on the power tool – the vac-
uum cleaner starts automatically.
After turning the power tool off, the
vacuum cleaner continues to run for
about 5 seconds and then switches off
automatically.
Wet vacuuming.
Before vacuuming fluids, the paper dust
bag and filter cartridge must be taken out
and the float checked for proper function-
ing.
Empty the container and clean it to
reduce dirt accumulation.
When the maximum filling level of the
container has been reached, the air flow is
interrupted by the float integrated in the
top of the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum
cleaner suction then stops.
Immediately switch the vacuum cleaner
off, pull the plug out of the socket and
empty the container.
If foam develops, stop work immediately
and empty the container.
