Insert/remove battery
1. To insert the battery (15) into the de-
vice, push the battery along the guide
rail into the device. It locks into place
audibly.
2. To remove the battery (15) from the
device, press the release button (16)
on the battery and pull the battery out.
Attaching/setting the
shoulder Strap
1. Attach the carabiner hook of the shoul-
der belt (25) to the carrying eye (14)
on the telescopic arm of the device.
2. Set the belt length in a way that the
carrying eye (14) is at hip height.
3. You can also adjust the height of the
carrying eye (14) on the telescopic
arm after loosening the hex socket
head screw (14a).
Adjusting the Telescopic
arm
The telescopic arm (10) can be infinitely
adjusted using quick release (11).
1. Push the lever (11) forward as shown
in the illustration then push and pull to
adjust the handle length.
2. Pull back the lever (11) and so fix
the desired working length of the tel-
escopic arm.
Bend saw head
The saw head can be tilted in 4 posi-
tions in order to be able to cut crooked
branches.
Press the release switch (8) and simulta-
neously tilt the saw head (7). It locks into
the desired position when the lock button
is released.
Switching On and Off
Ensure that you are standing in a
firm position with both hands grip-
ping the hedge trimmer away from
the body. Ensure that the trimmer
is in contact with no other objects
before switching on.

Checking the oil automation
Before starting work, check the oil level in
the oil automation system
1. Switch the device on and hold it
above clear ground. The device
should not touch the ground.
2. If a trace of oil appears, the device is
working flawlessly.
3. If no trace of oil appears, clean the oil
outlet channel (
vice repaired by our customer service
department.
4. To clean, wipe the residues from the
oil outlet channel (
