Vivid Pal Meter uses one 3.0 Volt CR 2032 lithium battery.

You should replace the battery as soon as possible. An "E-6" error message
will appear if the battery is too low to perform any more blood glucose tests.
The meter will not function until the battery is replaced.
Instructions:
1. Turn the meter off before removing the battery.
2. Turn the meter over to locate the battery cover. Slide the battery cover off
the top of the meter to get the battery.
3. Press the "+" symbol on the white plastic battery holder to loosen the old
battery.
