In case only 1 out of 3 LED glows on the indi-
cator (9), this means the battery has to be re-
charged urgently in order to gain its previous
power.

tHERmAl PROtECtION
The power tool is not subject to overload when
operated according to its designation.
At specific surcumstances under heavy duty the
battery temperature may exceed the allowable
value (70ºC). In this case the electronic thermal
protection will automatically switch off the power
tool. Take out the battery and let it cool. You may
operate the machine only after the battery tem-
perature has reached the allowable temperature
range again.

IX - Maintenance
WARNING: Always set the forward/re-
verse switch (6) in central position before any
work on the machine e. g. fitting and removing
a battery, tool change, transport, maintenance
and storage.
Regularly check that all the fixing screws are tight.
They may vibrate loose over time.
Re-lubricate all moving parts at regular intervals.
ClEANING
For safe operation always keep the machine and
its ventilation slots clean.
Regularly check to see if any dust or foreign matter
has entered the grills near the motor and around
the switches. Use a soft brush to remove any ac-
cumulated dust. Wear safety glasses to protect
your eyes whilst cleaning.
If the body of the tool needs cleaning, wipe it with
a soft damp cloth. A mild detergent can be used.

Dirt and grease may be removed from the ex-
terior of the charger using a cloth or soft non-
metallic brush. Do not use water or any clean-
ing solutions.
ImPORtANt! To assure product safety and reli-
ability, repairs, maintenance and adjustment (in-
cluding brush inspection and replacement) should
be performed by certified service centres or other
qualified service organisations, always using gen-
uine replacement parts.
X - Warranty
The guarantee period for SPARKY power tools is
determined in the guarantee card.
Faults due to normal wear, overloading or improp-
er handling will be excluded from the guarantee.
Faults due to defective materials implemented as
well as defects in workmanship will be corrected
free of charge through replacement or repair.
The complaints for defective SPARKY power
tools will be recognized if the machine is sent
back to the dealer or is presented to the author-
ised warranty service centre undismantled, in its
initial condition.
