Product services. We will provide quotation for such expenses, and obtain your express consent to pay such
charges, before commencing repair service.
Accessory/peripheral warranty: Product accessories such as USB mouse and headphones have a three (3)
months warranty. Peripheral components such as battery and adapter have a one (1) year warranty.
Products meeting one or more conditions specified under Section 1.4 will not be eligible to receive the
prescribed services free of charge, and will be treated as out of warranty Products.
Except for global travel insurance covered under Section 2.1, all Products eligible for warranty technical
support will receive such service from MSI authorized service centers in the country where Product was
purchased.
1.3 Software CD Limited Warranty
Software which is not pre-installed in the Product is not covered by the Product's warranty. Pre-installed software
warranty shall be handled in accordance with Microsoft's End User License Agreement (EULA) or applicable
licenses for such software. MSI assumes no responsibility for any software installed by the customer and will not
be liable for any possible breakdown or damage caused by customer installed software. Customer shall directly
contact the appropriate software vendor concerning such software issues.
Software CD's bundled with the Product have one (1) month warranty. Excluding abnormal use or customer
induced damage, Product software CD's that are within warranty may be replaced provided customer returns the
original, damaged CD to MSI authorized service centers.
1.4 Circumstances Where Free Warranty Service Is Not Provided
Products meeting one or more of the following conditions shall not be eligible for MSI's warranty service,
regardless of whether the limited warranty period has expired or not. MSI may either refuse to provide
maintenance services or may require payment of surcharges relating to two way shipping, labor, and parts charges
before effectuating repair services:
You are unable to present the Product's warranty card, purchase receipt, or invoice proving that the Product is
covered by warranty;
The warranty card has been intentionally altered or its date is intentionally rendered difficult to decipher;
The Product has not been acquired from a MSI authorized distributor;
The Product or its parts are no longer under warranty;
Any breakdown or damage caused by abnormal use for such Product, or against specified methods of use
prescribed in the user manual;
Any breakdown or damage caused by user's improper packaging, storage and use;
Any breakdown or damage caused by installation, repair, modification or removal (breaking, damaging or
losing MSI's manufacturer warranty sticker) performed by service centers or personnel not authorized by MSI;
Any product breakdown or damage caused by the use of parts not certified by MSI;
The serial number pasted on either the Product or its component is broken, defective or does not match with
MSI's records;
Any breakdown or damage to Product, Product appearance, or its parts or peripherals caused by accidents or
man-made reasons, including but not limited to, computer viruses, damages caused by physical impact,
