compression, scratches, scrapes, high temperatures, high humidity, water inflow, voltage beyond prescribed
scope, use of non-MSI provided battery and adapter, stains, corrosion, rust, etc.;
Any breakdown or damage caused by the use of pirated software;
Any breakdown or damage caused by natural disasters and human calamities such as earthquakes, fires, riots,
etc...

1.5 Liability Limitations

The warranties provided in this policy shall be MSI's sole warranty. MSI does not directly or indirectly warrant
that the Product is of merchantable quality or fit for any particular purpose. All such implied warranties are hereby
disclaimed and excluded by MSI. All Products are given "as is". To the maximum extent permitted, this limited
warranty policy excludes and/or supersedes all assurances, guarantees, conditions, covenants, promises and
obligations provided by laws and regulations, customary trade practices, or trade customs. MSI's entire liability, if
any, under this policy for Product shall not exceed the paid Product purchase price for all past, current, or future
Product related incidents. MSI shall not be responsible for impossibility of use of the Product, or loss, damage,
deletion or modification of data or software. Further, for clarity, MSI shall have no liability for incidental,
consequential, punitive, direct, indirect, or special damages or any financial loss, lost profit, or expenses, arising
out of or in connection with this policy or with the purchase and use of Product under any theory of liability,
including but not limited to contract, tort (including negligence), or any other theory, even if MSI has been
informed of the possibility of damage or of the failure of essential purpose of any part of this policy.
1.6 STATUTORY RIGHTS NOT AFFECTED
THE LIMITED WARRANTY PROVIDED UNDER THIS POLICY DOES NOT AFFECT THE
STATUTORY RIGHTS OF THE CONSUMERS GUARANTEED BY APPLICABLE STATE, FEDERAL
AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
Chapter 2: Global Travel Insurance
2.1 Global Travel Insurance Scope
The global travel insurance is a multinational professional one (1) year service only available by application for
customers who have purchased a MSI notebook Product. For clarity purpose, MSI netbook and tablet Products are
not covered under the global travel insurance. If you have applied for and received the global travel insurance,
your Product will have worldwide technical support service at service centers designated by MSI. Otherwise, your
Product will be covered by standard MSI warranty as set forth in this policy, where such coverage is limited to the
country where the Product was purchased.
The global travel insurance is applicable only when you send the Product to a MSI-authorized "Global travel
insurance" service center not in the country of original purchase. If you travel to an area without MSI global
service centers, you may send the Product to the global service center closest to you, provided that all shipping
charges shall be covered by you.
