DETAILED SET UP
Unpack unit
1. Open box and lift the vapor nozzle out of the box.
2. Remove packaged literature on top and packing
material.
3. Lift out the plastic bag with the unit inside. Remove
the unit from the bag. Dispose of the plastic bag.
4. Assemble the unit as shown, and place it on a table.
Fill the Tank with Water
WARNING: to avoid electrical shock, never add wa-
ter to the vapor outlet.
CAUTIONS: Do not use the vapor outlet on the water
tank as a handle. It is not designed to support the
water tank when full. Always hold the full water tank
in two hands
Once the water tank is filled and placed on the base,
do not attempt to move the humidifier. Leakage will
occur.
NOTE: Follow cautions on page 5 regarding additives
to water.
1. Remove and set aside vapor nozzle.
2. Lift water tank off base and turn it upside down.
3. Remove the water cap. You will note the demineral-
ization cartridge attached to the water cap.
4. Holding the tank carefully in two hands, fill the
water tank with fresh, cool water. Leave room for
the cartridge.
5. Wipe any spilled water from exterior of tank and
screw water cap back onto tank. Verify cap is tight-
ly installed back onto water tank before replacing it
onto base.
NOTE: The water tank and base only go together one
way: Align the logo on the tank with the center of the
knob on the base.
6. Replace the water tank aligning the water tank and
base.
7. Position the vapor nozzle on the bottle to deliver
the vapor to the desired area.

Locate Place for Your Humidifier

NOTE: Ultrasonic humidifiers release a fine mist that
can cause condensation on surfaces. Please take
precautions to protect any surface where water dam-
age could occur due to condensation.
Once the AURORA is assembled and filled up, posi-
tion the humidifier in the room or area where humid-
ity is most needed. We do not recommend operat-
ing the unit in a closed room for an extended period
of time to avoid the build up of condensation.
Consider the points listed in the "Tips for Positioning"
in the margin, to identify the best locations for the
humidifier.

Tips for Positioning
• On a level surface.
• Avoid aiming mist directly
at young children, pets, or
electronics.
• Not too near wall, ceiling or
wooden surfaces that could
be damaged by water con-
densation.
• Not next to thermostat or
hot air vent.
• Not by window (to avoid
condensation).
