De Promig 400-4S DUO DV en 400 G DV zijn standaard uitgerust om te lassen met Ø 1 mm staaldraad (roller Ø 1/1,2). Voor het lassen van staal of rvs dient u een specifiek gas argon + CO2 (Ar + CO2) te gebruiken.

Het gebruik van andere koelvloeistoffen, met name standaard auto koelvloeistof, kan een elektrolytische reactie veroorzaken en tot ophoping van vaste afzettingen in het koelsysteem leiden, waardoor verslechtering van de koeling en obstructie van de schakeling kunnen optreden.
