- No fire -
Fuel is inflammable and dangerous. Lubricating oil is also
inflammable and dangerous. Handle them carefully.
- While replenishing the fuel or lubricating oil, stop the
engine.
- Replenish the fuel outdoors under the good ventilated
condition.
- If the spilled fuel or lubricating oil can catch fire at the hot
part, wait until the engine is cooled and then replenish the
oil.
- Always wipe away the spilled fuel and lubricating oil.
- To prevent a fire, always wipe away the stain accumulated
on the engine, oily substances and dust.
- Store the inflammable fuel and other oils far away from
fire.
If the vicinity of the engine is stained, a fire may occur.
- To prevent a fire, always clean the vicinity of the engine,
radiator, battery, fuel tank, exhaust pipe, muffler and the
vicinity of pipes/cables.
- Before cleaning, stop the engine.
- Perform "cooling operation" to cool the engine gradually.
(Perform idling for 5 minutes or more).
- If you stop the engine without cooling operation, the
temperature around the engine rises suddenly. It is a
dangerous situation.
