7.6 PARKING BRAKE

The parking brake is installed at the left of the rear
wheel. Moving the lever rightward applies the brake
and moving it leftward releases the brake. When
stopping the machine on a slope, use the parking
brake without fail and place the rear wheel at the
bottom side.
Unless the parking lever is used when stopping the machine on a slope, the machine may run recklessly
to damage persons or buildings.

7.7 SAFETY HANDLE

If you are caught between an obstacle such as a wall
and the machine while moving backward, the safety
handle sets the back-and-forth lever to the neutral
position mechanically.
Before operating the machine, make sure that the
safety handle operates.
If you hang something on the safety handle, the handle cannot be useful when it must work and may
cause a serious damage.
