Proper use

The appliance is designed to weld steel, aluminium
and alloys both in commercial and industrial
environments.
The user is liable for damage resulting
from improper use.
Appliance protection
The appliance is electronically protected against
overload. However, the step switch should not be
actuated when under load. Before welding, close
the side covers and connect the workpiece to the
appliance using the workpiece line.
Remove weld spatter from the inside wall of the gas
nozzle using suitable special pliers. Spray the inside
wall of the gas nozzle with a parting agent or use
nozzle protection paste. This prevents welding spat-
ter from burning-in. Spray at an angle so as to avoid
clogging of the shielding gas outlet holes.
When loading the appliance it must be lifted using
the handle provided. Do not use the casing to lift the
appliance with a forklift or similar equipment.

BGV Check
(German Accident Prevention Association)
The operating company of commercially used weld-
ing equipment is obliged to have the appliances
checked in accordance with directive EN 60974-4
at regular intervals appropriate for the frequency
of use. Würth recommends having the appliance
checked every 12 months.
Additional safety checks have to be performed after
modifying or repairing the appliance. Improper
checks for compliance with accident prevention
regulations may result in the destruction of the appli-
ance. Please contact an authorised Würth service
point for more information on checking the compli-
ance with accident prevention regulations.
