Sometimes certain faults detected can be easily
T r o u b l e s h o o t i n g
resolved. Before calling the Technical Assistance
Service, bear in mind the following advice:
Fault
General electrical fault.
The electric ignition is not
working.
Uneven burner flame
The gas does not appear to be
flowing normally or there is no
gas being produced at all.
There is a smell of gas in the
kitchen.
The burner goes out straight
after it is ignited.

Possible cause
The domestic circuit breaker has tripped.
There may be food remnants or cleaning product resi-
dues between the ignition plugs and the burners.
The burners are wet.
The burner caps have not been fitted correctly.
Power cut
The burner parts have not been fitted correctly.
There is dirt in the burner openings.
The intermediate valves are closed.
If you are using a gas cylinder, check that it is not empty. Replace the gas cylinder.
Gas may be leaking out where the gas cylinder is con-
nected.
You have not held the control knob down long enough.
There is dirt in the burner openings.
Solution
Check the fuse box to see whether the circuit breaker has
tripped.
The spaces in between the ignition plugs and the burners
must be clean.
Carefully dry the burner caps.
Check whether the caps are fitted correctly.
Light the burners manually.
Fit the burner parts correctly.
Clean the burner openings.
Open the intermediate valves.
Check that the gas cylinder connection is not leaking.
Once the burner is lit, press and hold the control knob for
a few seconds.Push it in firmly.
Clean the burner openings.
