Safety Information

The product has been manufactured
according to the accepted rules of
current technology. Even so, there is
a risk of injury or damage when using
the product if these instructions or the
above-mentioned documentation are not
observed.
To avoid injuries and damage to
property:
Read the safety instructions and

assembly instructions completely
and thoroughly before assembling,
commissioning, or servicing the
product.
Keep the documentation in a

location where it is accessible to all
users at all times.
Always include the safety

instructions and assembly
instructions when you pass the
product on to third parties.
Intended Use
This product is an incomplete machine
in accordance with the EU Machinery
Directive 2006/42/EC.
The product may be used as follows:
• Workpiece transport on Rexroth
workpiece pallets using the Rexroth
TS 1 Transfer System
• Operation in the industrial sector
• An incomplete machine may only
be commissioned after it has been
ensured that the machine in which the
incomplete machine is to be installed
complies with the provisions in the
EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC,
insofar as applicable.
Intended use also includes having read
and understood this documentation,
especially the chapter "Safety
Instructions" and the assembly
instructions.
Improper Use
Any use other than that described under
Intended Use is considered improper
and is not permitted. In no event can
Bosch Rexroth AG accept liability claims
for damages arising from improper
use; the user alone bears the risks of
improper use of the product.
Unintended use of the product includes:
• Transporting of persons

Personnel Qualifications

The work described in the assembly
instructions requires basic mechanical
and electrical knowledge, as well as
knowledge of the appropriate technical
terms. In order to ensure safe use, these
activities may therefore only be carried
out by qualified technical personnel or
an instructed person under the direction
and supervision of qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are those who can
recognize possible hazards and institute
the appropriate safety measures due to
their professional training, knowledge,
and experience, as well as their
understanding of the relevant conditions
pertaining to the work to be done.
Qualified personnel must observe the
rules relevant to the subject area.

Safety Instructions

• Exclusively use Rexroth products in
good technical order and condition.
• Follow all of the instructions on the
product.
• Only use accessories and spare parts
approved by the manufacturer.
• Comply with the technical data and
ambient conditions listed in the TS 1
Transfer System catalog.
• Do not modify the product.
• The motor heats up considerably
during operation. Allow the motor to
cool sufficiently before touching it, or
wear suitable protective clothing, e.g.
heat-proof gloves, to protect yourself
from burns.
• Always make sure that no objects
(with the exception of the goods to be
conveyed) are on the product before
switching the system on. Otherwise,
there is a risk of injuries due to falling
objects.
• Do not walk on the product.
• Only allow persons who are
authorized by the operator to access
the product's direct operating area.
This is also valid when the product is
standing still.
• Do not reach into moving parts.
• Wear appropriate protective
equipment (e.g. safety shoes)
when working with the product.
See "Instructions for Employees on
Safety".
• Switch off all energy sources before
performing any assembly, installation,
maintenance, and repair work. Protect
the product against being switched
on.
• Observe the regulations for accident
prevention and environmental
protection.
• Observe the safety instructions and
regulations applicable in the country
in which the product is used.
