4. Assembly/adjustments
You can carry out the adjustments of your wheelchair yourself with a
little manual dexterity. In order to do this, you will need a 13-mm ring
spanner for the leg rests and an 8 + 10mm cross-head screwdriver for
the brakes. If you have any questions, please contact your specialist
dealer.
Please be careful of your fingers when making
adjustments. Risk of entrapment!
4.1. Folding and unfolding
4.1.1. Delivery
Your new B+B wheelchair is delivered fully assembled and folded in
an original B+B box (Fig. 2). The foot rests are supplied separately to
prevent damage during transport.
4.1.2. Unfolding
1a
Place your B+B wheelchair next to you. Tip it towards you until the load
is taken off one rear wheel. Push the armrests on the wheelchair away
from one another (Fig. 3). Now press on the seat with the flat of your
hand to unfold the wheelchair completely (Fig. 4).
When unfolding, please make sure your fingers
remain on the seat belt. Otherwise there is a risk of
trapping them!
4.1.3. Folding
Place your B+B wheelchair next to you. Fold the foot plates upwards.
Grip the front and back of the seat cushion in the centre and pull it
upwards (Fig. 5) until the chair is fully folded.
